Worcestershire county cricketer Alex Hepburn has appeared in court docket accused of raping a lady.

The 21-year-old Australian is dealing with two counts referring to an alleged offence in Worcester on 1 April.

He was advised magistrates couldn’t take care of the case and was launched on unconditional bail to seem on the metropolis’s crown court docket on four January.

His membership, which has suspended the all-rounder on full pay, stated it will not remark additional on proceedings.

Worcestershire additionally confirmed it was coping with a disciplinary matter involving director of cricket Steve Rhodes, which relates solely to his function on the membership.
